The management is great! Everyone works very hard and you can see that everyone who works here is passionate about their work. Everyone is very friendly and polite. Hardest part of the job are the hours and the physical aspect (a lot of bending over, climbing ladders, heavy lifting. ) The most enjoyable part of the job is knowing I made a difference with customer experience. Worked there for 9 years and it was great, phenomenal co workers but the last few years it's really started to go downhill. People openly talk about leaving or they're currently looking for another job, management doesn't seem to care about your opinions, if it's not what corporate wants it's irrelevant. No HR in house, it's all automated through a third party, which was useless, and pay is capped after a certain amount of raises.

A supervisor gave the employee a dressing down over the shirt last weekend in the chain's Bonney Lake location, ordering him to either buy a new shirt or go home and change, the employee, Kyle Sales, told the local CBS affiliate. "She goes, 'A customer said your shirt is offensive and racist, '" Sales said. "This is from a movie. How is this racist? " Sales was furious, but ultimately decided to put on a sports jersey over the superhero shirt to hide its wording. "I was very angry. It just did not seem fair in light of all of the things that are happening in our in the world right now, " he said. "This isn't racist. I shouldn't be punished for a t-shirt from a movie. " The female customer who complained wasn't ready to drop the issue, either. She apparently returned the next day to ask whether Sales was reprimanded for the shirt, Sales had reportedly heard from a friend.
The bottom tier employees were nice and did their jobs well for the most part. The store's HR department was also very prejudice against part time workers for some odd reason, but like I said, most of the management there was terrible. It's a decent place to start out at for a summer job or such but it's definitely not somewhere I would have stayed. Hire the proper amount of people to do the job. In my experience in any line of work, if you have the right amount of people and good management everyone is happy and productive. At Lowe's that is just not the case. At first this company seemed to care about it's employees and their personal lives. Now, as an employee you're just treated like another number. Iv never felt more unappreciated in my entire life. I enjoyed and loved working at Lowe's. The workers and the managers were awesome. If you had any questions the employees and managers would help you with no problem. Help us improve! Not the best place to work because they are always cutting hours and if you have bills to pay u can't make most of them with sixteen hours a week so therefore it's not great Lowe's is a very good place to work. I had an awesome time and all of the employees were friendly and helped me out. The shift was normal and I was able to get my tasks done everyday. Lowes is a great company to work for. Very flexible with shifts and hours. The management team cares about its employees. Pay is fair and there is room for growth within the company. I worked with heavy boxes.

Alot of manual labor during a time when someone should be sleeping is never a good thing. It would have been okay, but I didn't like the managers all that much. The people I worked with were okay, but all in all I would say it wasn't worth the money. Good people there to work with. Very clean environment to work in. Helpful associates when asked upon for assistance. Not over demanding and reasonable. Scheduling is haphazard. Stockers end up helping more customers than sales people. Very limited chance for advancement. People leaving constantly, Training is practically nonexistent, watch a video and then get thrown out to survive Pros Work inside in inclement weather.
