Uno de esos títulos alejados de los presupuestos masivos que ha llegado a las salas hace bien poco es 'La seducción' (The Beguiled'), nueva versión del clásico de Don Siegel protagonizado por Clint Eastwood que en esta ocasión ha comandado Sofia Coppola. Con el aliciente de su histórico galardón en Cannes, estamos ante un estimulante remake que opta por trasladar el punto de vista dominante con el objetivo de contarnos la historia de una serpiente que ha quedado atrapada entre tinieblas sin ser consciente de ello. Trasladando el eje del hombre a las mujeres Uno de los cambios más destacables de 'La seducción' respecto a 'El seductor' es que Coppola no tiene tanto interés en ahondar en el personaje interpretado por Colin Farrell, de ahí que se prescinda por completo de esos pequeños flashbacks de la cinta de Siegel para dejar claro que era un astuto y sucio manipulador.
